Difference between Data processing
and data processing system:
We use computers mainly for data
processing i.e. Converting Data into information
but total infrastructures like manpower, machines, various types of input
devices, output Devices, applications (software) required for converting this
data into information is known as data processing System. Following are main
differences between data processing and data processing system.

Data processing
Data processing system
1
It is a technique (definition) to convert
Data into information.
It is a system (combination of man, machine,
Applications Etc.) For data processing.
2
In this technique we organize or Restructure
the data into information.
The total components involved in this
organization or Restructuring of data known as data processing System.
3
Data processing can be manual or Electronic.
If data processing is done manually
then system made for this type of data processing will be known manual Processing
system. And if it is done with the help of Computers then it would be known as
electronic data Processing system

Elements Of data processing are data (record, files ), and techniques ( logics Or applications)
Elements of data processing systems
are data, Persons (who prepare the data), input devices, Machines,
techniques, output devices, etc.
